For the many
young and upwardly mobile Nigerians looking for where to relax and unwind with
their family and loved ones, SHOWBIZPLUSNG can authoritatively reveal that the
Agip hall of Muson Centre, is the place to be this Easter Monday.
According to
the creative soul behind the initiative, Bunmi Davies, in 2008, the quest to
create Nigeria’s first 100% comedy Platform began.
“Within a
year, Stand up Nigeria became a household name growing from a show watched by
less than 12 people at the first edition to one watched by a few millions
everyday within and outside Nigeria.
In Sept
2013, another journey began…To build a virile contemporary Nigerian Theatre
Platform... #PlaysByBunmiDavies#”
Shedding more light, Davies disclosed thus:
The first edition “Anger of Unfulfillment” written by award
winning poet, playwright and banker, Jekwu Ozoemene was definitely an explosive
way to start. Premiered at Agip Hall, Muson centre with the four shows sold out
and an attendance of almost 2,000 people, you can bet it definitely was a blast.
The next edition, an equally hilarious and entertaining piece
from the collage is set to be staged on Easter Monday at Agip Hall, Muson Centre.
So, keep your fingers crossed, look out for the promos on all
social and electronic media and be sure to ring up 07055553000/08175553000 to
book tickets to this classic masterpiece.”
