Excitement as Nollywood Week Film Festival holds in Paris

SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively report and also reveal that there is already palpable excitement in the air as the second edition of the annual Nollywood Week Film Festival is poised to rock and serenade the beautiful city of Paris, capital of France, between June 5 and 8, 2014.

This announcement was made by the French Consul-General, Mr. Francois Sastourne, during a recent private VIP cocktail party held at his private residence in Lagos.
The event was well attended by top Nollywood actors, directors, producers as well as the media, international investors and creative artistes. Also, in attendance were the directors and actors whose films will be screened at the forthcoming festival, as well as a number of seasoned festival directors.
Sastourne said some of the shortlisted films included Kenneth Gyang’s award winning movie, Confusion Na Wa; Biyi Bandele’s Half of a Yellow Sun, Daniel Oriahi’s Misfit, Michelle Bello’s Flower Girl and Journey to Self, directed by Tope Oshin-Ogun.
The first edition of Nollywood Week Paris was held from May 30 to June 2, 2013 at the Cinema l’Arlequin in Paris.
