Nigerian team invades Canada for Dance World Cup

Between July 2 and 6, 2014, Tomhen Nigeria Limited, the facilitator of  the Federation Dance Nigeria under the auspices of Tomhen Cultural World African Nations Development Organization (NGO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism, Edo State, will represent team Nigeria at the 2014 Dance Council Cup in Niagara Falls, Canada.
  SHOWBIZPLUSNG gathered that the participation of Nigeria in the Dance World Cup Competition, Convention and Tour will not only promote the Nigerian arts, culture and tourism enterprises at the international level, but will also serve as a tool to enhance the performance of the home base artistes and encourage youths to have interest in our cultural heritage and value.

Tomhen Nigeria, disclosed that the Omo N Oba` N Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa, has also endorsed the competition. The aim is to unify Nigerian citizens and preach unity and peace among our people.
Tomhen Nigeria is a registered member of Council International Dance (CID), recognized by UNESCO with headquarters in Paris, France.
IkhilienAlimi Esan and Ugiedo the Royal Dance of Benin kingdom are among the Nigerian dances slated to perform at the Dance World Cup Competition 2014. The boss of Tomhen Nigeria, ThankGod O. Okoduwa, is appealing for support from cultural activists, promoters, NGOs, corporate organizations, governments and traditional institutions.
“We are committed to using dance cultures as gateway to regional and national integration thus, creating jobs for our teeming youths and reviving our cultural heritage.”
