Publicist denies Patoranking was detained in Uganda
Patoranking, was allegedly detained yesterday afternoon at the Entebbe International Airport in Kampala Road, Uganda for failure to adhere to check in rules.
Nigerian dancehall singer, Patoranking was allegedly detained in Uganda yesterday, August 2, 2016 according to reports but his publicist exclusively told Pulse this was fasle.
Red Pepper reported that Patoranking, was briefly detained yesterday afternoon at the Entebbe International Airport inKampala Road, Uganda for failure to adhere to check in rules.
A source told the publication, "He failed to adhere to check-in rules and above all he had not secured his entry visa. He was just told to remove his cap for security check-up but he chose not to listen to instructions. He was denied entry and arrested for disobeying lawful check in orders."
Pulse however reached out to his publicist, Omotayo Levi who told us the reports was false. According to him, "It's a lie. It is not true."
It reported that Patoranking who arrived at the airport around 4:00pm, was detained for over 7hours, and after pleading, he was later released and granted entry visa.
Patoranking was in Uganda to promote his first album ‘God over everything’. The 16-track Reggae album sees the dancehall act feature artistes like Olamide, Wizkid, Phyno and KWAM 1. ---pulse.ng
