Comedy Club Awards set to honour creative minds, promoters

All is now set for the maiden edition of the Comedy Club Awards 2016 dubbed The Tour.
A statement made available to DAYLIGHT.NG stated that the forthcoming event is an initiative of www.inandoutentz.com .
It has been scheduled to hold from December 12 to 18, 2016.
According to the organisers, the awards will be presented to winners at the various comedy clubs, where they perform.
“In Nigeria today, entertainment has become an integral part of our social life and has equally witnessed phenomenal growth as a lucrative business. Also, comedy clubs have experienced a boom and now compete favourably with other aspects of the comedy business. As a result, we want to honour major backers of this aspect of comedy business.
The awards is basically to honour comedy club hosts(comedians) and club owners who within the last one year have supported and promoted the business of comedy in Nigeria through COMEDY CLUBS,””
stated the founder of the award scheme, Mr. Onyika Emmanuel, who is also the boss of IN AND OUT ENTERTAINMENT, further disclosed that the awards is aimed at recognising, rewarding and celebrating excellence among comedians and club owners who have added value to the comedy business.
The award is supported by Goldmoore Int’l Ltd, Daylight.ng, Yes Int’l Magazine, Yaw9naija entertainment, Smash9ja.com, Hauz of Iyalaiya, Divine Mashante Resources among others.
