Late former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi who passed away on the 8th of June, 2016 has been laid to rest. His burial ceremony was conducted yesterday along with a series of events to celebrate the life of the prolific player and coach.
The ceremony began with a funeral mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State. After this, a novelty match was played in his memory at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick and actor Alex Usifo were spotted at the ceremony lending their support.
