Boity on the red carpet
This new development is coming just weeks after reports emerged that Boitumelo Thulo had heeded a call from her ancestors to be a Sangoma (traditional healer) as the actress has now confirmed her calling, describing it as a beautiful gift that ‘I will never take for granted.’
It was reported in the South African media platform, Sunday World that Boity had told friends that she had accepted the call and had completed her training to become a traditional healer.
“Yes I did go thwasa but I’m not going to practice as a sangoma. This is a very sensitive matter that I don’t want to talk about in the media. It’s a personal matter and way too deep to be reduced into a celebrity gossip in the newspaper. It’s a secret. It’s so much deeper,” the paper quoted Boity as saying.----naij.com
