Uduaghan honours Fred Amata with land gift

Turning 50, has turned out to be a huge blessing in the life of actor, producer and director, Fred Amata, who is still savouring and celebrating the golden moments.
He recently got an unexpected birthday present from his State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Amata was presented with the documents of a landed property by Uduaghan, for being a proud and worthy son of the state.

The surprise birthday gift was handed over to the amiable thespian at his White Tie Charity Dinner party held at the Muson Centre last weekend, by one of the governor’s aides, Patrick Ferife.
On behalf of Uduaghan, Ferife presented a Certificate of
Occupancy to Amata, covering a piece of land in the GRA
of Delta State.
Overwhelmed Amata, while receiving the surprise gift also thanked Uduaghan, for the kindness and love towards him.
The night of bliss and excitement was spiced up with variety of performances in honour of the movie maker.
Interestingly, the excerpts from Fred Agbeyegbe's stage
play "The King Must Dance Naked" was performed by Amata and a robust cast, which included, Nobert Young, Kate Henshaw, Segun Arinze, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Bimbo Manuel, Bimbo Akintola and Chidi Mokeme.
Other Nollywood stars who graced the occasion were RMD, Oge Okoye, Dakore Akande, Monalisa Chinda, Ras Kimono, Chico Ejiro and many others.
Meanwhile, part of the activities marking the birthday of the Nollywood veteran kicked off last week with a celebrity charity challenge.
The star-studded  novelty football match was played by a selected team of Nollywood  stars, actors, musicians, comedians, TV and Radio personalities who challenged  the 1994 Nations Cup winning Super Eagles team led by J Jay Okocha. Other members were Victor Ikpeba, Peter Rufai, MutiuAdepoju, Samson
Sisia and others.
The hilarious but interesting football competition ended 4-2 in
favour of the ex-international players.
