Tiffany Amber boss wins WIE award in South Africa

For her dedication to duty, dexterity and drive over the years, Folake Folarin-Coker, the Artistic Director of premier African fashion label, Tiffany Amber Nigeria, was recently rewarded with an international diadem.  The entertainment loving entrepreneur was honoured with an Enterprise Award at the 2013 Women, Inspiration and Enterprise (WIE) Symposium, in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Enterprise Award seeks to honours trailblazing businesswoman who have broken barriers and brought innovation and change to the corporate world.

Previous winners of this and other prestigious WIE awards include, Iman, Dame Vivian Westwood, Supermodel Christy Turlington, Dr. Jill Biden and Melinda Gates among many others.

Commenting on the award, Folake Folarin-Coker said; “It is always an honour to receive an accolade for something I love doing, but it gives me even more pleasure to be recognized by such an amazing Network such as WIE, who’s mission is to empower women, bring them together and in doing so, inspire our future female leaders.”

As well as the Enterprise Award, she was also listed in the WIE 60 Power Influencers in Africa. The WIE Power Influencers list showcases the women shaping Africa's future.
