After a strategic long break from the showbiz scene, Chuxy of Chuxy and Dency fame, the duo that took the music scene by storm in 2004 with a rehash of King Sunny Ade’s “Miomo”and “Surulere” is back on the block with a bigger picture and prospect.
Chuxy, the CEO of Bigtune AV is
not only on the scene with new and exciting works, but is partnering with Bigtune
to finalize the official launch of their new record label and first
artiste.
According to Patrick Obasi also
known as ‘Crucial’, spokesman of the label, Bigtune AV is a 360
audio-visual communications outfit positioned to take the entertainment
industry to the next level. He also disclosed that all hands are on deck to
finalize the single of their new female sensation due for release next month.
The artiste, Sotonye, is a
sensational singer and Theater Arts graduate of the University of Calabar. The
daughter of Music and Theatre legend Mary Afi-Usuah (MON), has laced an
awesome dance beat with a soulful blend of hip-life flavour that is bound for
the dance floor this month. The hit single: “Step by step” was produced by JeggyJegg,
the sensational and prolific producer who has worked with numerous A list artistes
in the industry like 2face idibia, Timaya, Terry-G among others.
