Wizkid |
This is authoritative. Controversial music star,
Wizkid is finally done and dumping the Banky W’s led Empire Mates Entertainment
(EME) label that brought him fame and fortune. He recently revealed that his
forthcoming sophomore album will be the last with EME.
EME has been home to Wizkid for over five years now,
but the singer during an interview with On-Air-Personality Olisa Adibua
revealed that he will be quitting the label after his next album, to focus on
his Star Boy music label. When asked when he will be leaving EME, Wizkid said;
“Yes, this is pretty much my last album with E.M.E.”
Wizzy however insisted that EME will still remain his
family and also refute claims that he hasn’t repaid the label enough. “We are
still family, we would still continue doing business together. I made a lot of
money for the label, I have repaid them,” he said on “The Truth” anchored by
Adibua.
