How wife’s battery, assault crashed Ibrahim Chatta’s marriage to governor’s daughter

The couple when the going was good

It is no longer news that pretty Salamatu Muhammed Lafiaji, wife of controversial Yoruba actor, Ibrahim Chatta has abandoned their 16-months old turbulent marriage. What many are oblivious of is the fact that the vulnerable woman decided to flee her home when she could no longer bear the incessant battery and assault from her irrational hubby.
The embattled beautiful daughter of Kwara State ex-governor, Muhammed Lafiaji, SHOWBIZPLUSng learnt quit the marriage early in the year but sought for divorce months after.

According to inside sources, the marriage was dissolved by an Ilorin upper court headed by Hon. R.O Bakare over allegations of battery, assault and maltreatment.
A reliable insider further squealed that a certificate of divorce has allegedly been issued to Salamat, who openly declared that Chatta lacks love, care and right attitude towards the marriage by converting her into a punching bag while the troubled union lasted.
Chatta got married to Salamat in April 2013 and their 18 months old marriage produced no kid.
