Nigeria’s finest Radio and television on air personalities, Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa,
the evening proved to be an exciting one for all invited guests.
In his usual energetic
elements, much to the amazement of the audience, Sir Victor Uwaifo who is also
a professor at the University of Benin, dazzled guests with an animated
performance that left the audience begging for more.
Wearing his signature
well-tendered black Afro hairdo and dark glasses to match, and dressed in a bright
shiny attire with his guitar gently hanging down his neck reminiscent of the
rock stars of the 70’s and 80’s, 73 year old Sir Victor Uwaifo proved to the
audience that he is indeed still a ‘young boy’when he gyrated rhythmicallyto
several of his hit songs like “Guitar Boy, “Mami Water” “Joromi”.

Savage as usual did not fail to thrill guests as she gave a sublime performance
of her hit tracks like “Eminado” and “KeleKele Love”. Popular comedian, Gordons
left the audience reeling in laughter hilarious jokes which has made him a
household name.
In line with its
character of continuously rewarding productivity and good business partnership,
Nigeria’s pioneer and largest brewing company, Nigerian Breweries Plc restated its commitment to continuously reward productivity
and business partnership which was demonstrated at the distributors’ award
night where the company rewarded outstanding distributors and transporters that
excelled in 2013.

Nigeria limited, having sold the required cases of Nigerian Breweries products,
emerged the best distributor. The company grabbed the coveted award and a brand
new Man Diesel truck to further enhance their business.
Speaking at the event,
the Managing Director of Nigerian Breweries plc, Mr. NicolaasVervelde, extolled
the invaluable contributions of the distributors and partners to the overall
success of the company. His words: “it was a year ago that we predicted a
fierce competition in the beer market. However, our company won more market
share in 2013. This night, market growth shows that distribution has been
crucial to Nigerian Breweries’ success in the beer market. We are committed to
spend more money on our brands than the previous year. This is because 2014 is
another year for partnership based on mutual respect and success
