Nigeria Police, IGP endorse Tricia Eseigbe’s –The Psychologist

Nollywood star, Tricia Esiegbe’s fight against child sexual abuse and molestation recently got a big boost. SHOWBIZPLUSNG learnt that Eseigbe’s latest advocacy project The Psychologist –  a public awareness campaign project  on Child Sexual Abuse, has now got the support, endorsement and partnership of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Psychologist, according to the presenter and producer of Boldfaces, is designed to expose sexual predators within Nigeria and also create a support platform for victims of child molestation.

The Inspector-General of Police, MD Abubakar, represented The Nigeria Police Force and during the partnership announcement meeting at The Nigeria Police Force head quarters, Louis Edet House, recently in Abuja.
Elated Abubakar applauded The Boldfaces International team, producers of the forthcoming programme, for such a wonderful project and its mission to fight child sexual offenders within our communities.

He further instructed all the 36 state commissioners of police and 12 DIG’s to work closely and give all the necessary support to The Psychologist team nationwide.

During the event, The IGP was presented with Boldfaces special award of excellence, for his good work since assumption of office.

 A similar award was presented to Austin JayJay Okocha in 2008, when he retired from playing football.
The Psychologist- On The Move, with this partnership is set to launch its planned celebrity road show campaign and also will visit schools nationwide, and hold town hall meetings in every state across Nigeria to educate our people about ways to protect our young and vulnerable children from sexual abuse.
