Laide Bakare goes into hiding as EFCC declares hubby wanted for fraud

This is definitely not the best of time for Yoruba star actress, Laide Bakare.

SHOWBIZPLUSng reliably gathered that the controversial thespian has allegedly gone into hiding following the recent arrest warrant issued on her socialite hubby.

Muttairu Babatunde Orilowo, whom Bakare recently married in a very controversial manner, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for allegedly obtaining money under false pretence and stealing.

The financial crime watchdog in a recent notice to the public, posted a photo of Orilowo with the following announcement:
    “The public is hereby notified that Alhaji Muttairu Babatunde Babaegbe Orilowo, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Obtaining Money under False Pretences and Stealing. Dark complexioned Orilowo is 47 years old, 5.7 Feet tall and has brown eyes. He speaks English and Yoruba fluently. His last known address is No. 1 Otunba Adeniyi Street, Papa-Epe, Lagos."
 It is being alleged that fugitive Orilowo may have sneaked out of the country to Canada to escape arrest The declaration by the EFCC was due to a business that went sour. Some of his close friends claimed he will return soon and clear all the grey areas in the deal involving a top telecom company and a leading bank.
We could not get Bakare to react before going to press, as all her lines were switched off.
