WWE Monday Night Raw Preview

Six days away from WrestleMania, Philadelphia will host the homecoming episode of Monday Night Raw.

Six nights before WWE’s grandest pay-per-view of the year, Philadelphia will play host to the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of WrestleMania. Last Monday night, Mick Foley got his marching orders and with this WWE sowed seeds for storylines beyond WrestleMania.
At the same time, in terms of building up to ’Mania itself, however, the mind games between Undertaker and Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins’ dilemma took centre stage.
This episode could be completely different. The show’s entire focus is likely to be on WrestleMania and we will be taking a look at the possible developments that might take place this week on Raw.

#5 Seth Rollins and the leap of faith

WWE has always thrived when telling the Underdog vs. Authority story. Though it has been told a million times in the past, the story never ceases to evoke emotions. The conflict between Seth Rollins and Triple H is no different.
WWE has built this storyline slowly and steadily, and at a certain point, the fans had enough of waiting for the plot to move forward. But the pieces of puzzle eventually came together perfectly and WWE will present the last piece this week on Raw.
Rollins will only be able to face Triple H at WrestleMania if he signs the Hold Harmless Agreement this week on Raw. If Rollins does sign it then, neither Triple H nor WWE will be responsible for what happens to Rollins on Sunday night. The conflict that Rollins faces is simple but it promises to produce a great segment this week.

#4 Raw without a General Manager

Mick Foley’s reign as the General Manager of Raw came to an unpleasant end last week when he was fired by Stephanie McMahon. Raw is left without a GM as a result, and WWE has two roads ahead of them at this point. WWE has been teasing Stephanie’s name as the caretaker and interim GM of RAW until WrestleMania on their RAW preview. They’ve also hinted at the possibility of a new gm debuting!
The first option is to introduce a new General Manager this week on Raw. Such a decision will make headlines but with WrestleMania around the corner, the hype surrounding the new General Manager is bound to be overshadowed.
Alternatively, WWE could introduce a General Manager after WrestleMania. Taking this route will help WWE to get some momentum after the pay-per-view and unlike in the first option, the new GM will have the spotlight on him.
The intentions of the creative team will be revealed this week on Raw and this is one more reason to tune in.

#3 The Master of mind games

WWE’s decision to book Undertaker against Roman Reigns was a groundbreaking one. Reigns, who is one of the most polarising names on the roster, going against a legendary figure like the Undertaker, presented WWE with a long list of possibilities.
The way the WWE managed the huge potential of the storyline might be questionable, but last week, they gave the fans a treat.
Reigns and Undertaker had a spine-chilling confrontation and it seemed like the Deadman was finally inside the Big Dog’s head. ‘Taker and Reigns embarking on mental warfare ahead of their WrestleMania match elevates the storyline.
A similar booking should be made this week as well since it is such mind games that made us fall in love with storylines involving Undertaker.

#2 The champions that need to bounce back

Bayley and Chris Jericho are two champions that desperately need to bounce back.
Bayley, in particular, has the odds stacked against her. At WrestleMania, she will have to defend her title in a fatal-four-way match and to make matters worse, she registered back-to-back defeats against Sasha Banks and Nia Jax in recent weeks.
The Champion is going through a tough phase and a strong booking is what she needs this week on Raw.
The case with Chris Jericho is slightly less severe. His feud with Kevin Owens has exceeded expectations and Jericho has been on par with his rival as well. But last week around, he was on the receiving end of a vicious beating and this is something Jericho should bounce back from.

#1 Under one roof

WWE’s build up for Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar has been a long one. The process of telling a story with two part-timers came with some major headaches. Having both the Superstars under the same roof was one among this. Physical confrontations between Lesnar and Goldberg were rare in the journey so far due to this. But this week around, it would be a different story.
WWE is advertising both Goldberg and Lesnar for the show and with just six days left for WrestleMania; things are guaranteed to get interesting. Although they have both Superstars at their disposal for the show, WWE should be careful as an injury to either of them in the last minute would be catastrophic for the promotion. .sportskeeda.com
