Remember African Queen? That song released by legendary musician 2face Idibia in 2004 and featuring his wife Annie Idibia in the video? Well, the song now has a remix.
It took the efforts of popular comedian AY to convince 2face to make the remix of the classic love anthem and since the release of AY’s latest movie 10 days in Sun City falls well within 2face and his wife Annie’s 4th anniversary, he decided to release a special version of the song to celebrate her.
2face and Annie’s relationship has seen its fair share of ups and downs. Who can forget how after they broke up for the first time, 2face went on a ‘romantic spree’ with various women impregnating some of them earning himself the title of father of many nations.
He eventually married Annie in a destination wedding in 2013 and if you recall, almost everyone in the Nigerian entertainment travelled to Dubai that weekend they got hitched. This version of African Queen is part of the soundtracks of 10 days in Sun City set to be released soon. The film also stars Richard Mofe Damijo, Adesua Etomi and AY.naij
