Chocolate City founder and president Audu Maikori, who was arrested on Friday for statements he made in connection with Southern Kaduna killings, has been released on bail.
Audu Maikori was arrested on Friday and charged with incitement to violence based on a complaint by the Kaduna state government. The lawyer and record label owner was arraigned in a Kaduna Margistrate court on Monday.
In a statement to Premium Times, his lawyer John Danfulani said his client received bail "on liberal terms.
It was earlier reported that Maikori collapsed in custody, where he was shared a cell with Fulani herdsmen, and rushed to the hospital. naij
