Aftermath of heart break from Iyanya: Yvonne Nelson returns to Nigeria with House of Gold



 Several months after successfully storming Nigeria cinemas with Single and Married, Ghana-born heartbroken actress and producer Yvonne Nelson is poised to breeze in again with another blockbuster entitled House of Gold.

Amazingly, Silverbird Distributions Limited will on Friday, July 19, release the third self-produced film and second cinema feature of the screen goddess, simultaneously across cinemas in Nigeria.
 While the red carpet premiere will hold exclusively at Silverbird Galleria in Lagos. It will parade a galaxy of Nollywood and Ghollywood stars.
The flick which was executive-produced by Media GH in partnership with Yvonne Nelson was directed by Pascal Amanfo.  While speaking on the project, Nelson disclosed it was a comedy filled with lots of laugh out loud moments and loaded with so much excitement. “Movie enthusiasts should brace up for a thrilling experience,” she added.
House of Gold tells the story of Dan Ansah Williams, a highflying entrepreneur, business mogul, polygamist and socialite who is battling with Cancer and has six weeks to live. With the help of his long time associate and legal representative, he embarks on a mission to re-call all his children, most of whom were born out of wedlock, back home. William’s last wish was to have his children all under one roof for seven days so that they will get to know one another as blood brothers. However, that reunion proves a little more than everyone bargained for as each child indeed returns with an agenda and this sets the stage for the most hilarious and bizarre seven days of their lives.
A mixture of Nollywood and Ghollywood stars that thrilled in the star studded flick include, Majid Michel, Eddie Watson, Yvonne Nelson, Luckie Lawson and Umar Krupp.
Nigerian musicians such as: Omawumi Megbele, Mercy Chinwo and Ice Prince also featured in the movie.
