Usher began his singing career over two decades ago.
And on Wednesday, the 37-year-old was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The singer, who is set to release his
latest album Hard II Love next week, posed with his wife Grace Miguel
and his two sons at the ceremony.
The eight-time Grammy awarding winning
artist happily posed with his star, which is located at the intersection
of Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue in Los Angeles.
Usher donned black jeans with a fitted button up shirt featuring shimmery detailing on the neck and chest.
He arrived at the ceremony with his sons
Usher Raymond V, eight, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, seven; the star
was
previously married to their mother, stylist Tameka Foster.
The actor was awarded the 2,588th star following an introduction by film producer Harvey Weinstein.
Usher’s wife looked lovely in a black and white dress with laser cut boots, adding a top knot and red lipstick.
Usher and Grace, who is also his manager, were married in September 2015 during a holiday in Cuba.
Grace’s two children were also at the ceremony: her daughter Leaf and son Raiden McLean.
Fellow artist Kelly Rowland also attended, dressed in black trousers and a loose fitting blouse.
Miguel, Will.i.am. and LA Reid were also on hand to support Usher.
In 1992, LA signed a then 13-year-old Usher to LaFace Records – which was the singer’s first record deal.
Following the ceremony, Usher took to
Instagram to express his gratitude; he wrote: ‘Thank you to everyone who
has helped me get to this point #Humbled #WalkOfFame.’
