This is a passionate appeal to good spirited Nigerians especially Nollywood, the constituency of ailing actor, Leo Mezie who has been down with kidney failure not to relent in their effort in raising the sum of N10m for his treatment as his condition has worsened. He needs to travel to the UK this week for treatment considering his constant dialysis and the high exchange rate. According to information gathered by #Campaignteam4Nollywood, about six million Naira (N6m) has been raised so far.
Head
of the campaign team, Chioma Okoye said: “ Leo’s visa is out and he is
fully ready to travel but we still do not have at least N10m deposit
fund and the hospital bills are on the increase. Please due to time and
chance, we are calling on Nigerians especially Nollywood practitioners
to save the life of our colleague, brother and friend. A detailed bank
statement showing every donation both in bank statement and cash will be
published if the need arises, just so, we can have a visible clean and
clear fund raise campaign.
We also want to thank all those who have donated so far and pray that joy shall never cease from your lives.”
