Nollywood stars shed tears at Henrietta Kosoko's service of songs

Jide Kosoko tried to hide his pain from everyone that came to support as he greeted everyone who came to honor his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko. The event which started with a praise and worship session was too emotional as people she shed tears. Late Henrietta Kosoko’s son Taiwo Olowu was made to take ‎the first bible reading while her daughter Temilade Kosoko took the second Bible reading as Kehinde Olowu and Henrietta’s immediate brother remained inconsolable till the end of the event. Paying tribute to the late movie thespian was veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule, Adebayo Salami, Tony Okoroji and much more as her brother recounted how he witnessed her last breath. The atmosphere was full of sadness but the hosts, comedian Princess and Fidelis Duker urged everyone not to mourn Henrietta but to celebrate her.

It was a gathering of tears and sadness at Nollywood actresses, actors, family and well-wishers all stepped out to honor the late veteran Nollywood actress and wife of actor, Jide Kosoko at her wake keeping service held at the Blue Roof, LTV 8, Agidingbi, Lagos, on Thursday, June 9

The wake keeping service which was also tagged ‘artist night’ was highly attended not only by actors and actresses alone but by the high and mighty in the society such as Commisiioner for Culture and Tourism was there to represent the governor of Lagos state, Aba Folawiyo, Hon Olulade, Tony Okoroji among others. Top celebrities in attendance include comedian Seyi Law, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Iyabo Ojo, Fathia Balogun, Dayo Amusa, Femi Adebayo, Desmond Elliot, Saheed Balogun, Fausat Balogun, Toyin Aimakhu, Adeniyi Johnson, Muyiwa Ademola, Yomi Fash, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Dele Odule‎, Kemi Afolabi, Funke Etti, Jaiye Kuti, Victor Olaotan, Ricardo Agbor, Yomi Fabiyi, Yomi Fagboyo, Adekas films to mention a few, as Funsho Adeolu was represented by his wife.
