Fans, family and others arrived to pray for Muhammad Ali and pay their respects at a June 9 service for the late heavyweight boxing champion.
Mourners began arriving at Muhammad Ali’s Janazah funeral prayer service in Louisville, Kentucky on June 9.
Important dignitaries, including Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, attended the service
As Radar reported, the famous boxing champion Ali passed away on June 3 from septic shock, suffered as a result of an unspecified infection in his body
The short prayer service is held as a way for other Muslims to say prayers for Ali.
Ali, who died at age 74, was a devout follower of the Muslim faith
Officials ramped up security at the service.
The Janazah prayer service is just one of several planned memorials.
Ali will be laid to rest on Friday, June 10.
Attendees arrived at the Louisville venue from across the country and world.
Ali had grown frail in recent years as a result of his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
