Ghanaian born Nollywood actor Majid Michel reveals some of his friends have left him
The former Nollywood lover boy also reveals the kind of movie roles he can no longer take
All these are happening because of the actor's new-found faith
Majid Michel who became famous for his roles as lover boy - and could sometimes go to the extreme playing near adult film characters - has spoken on the challenges he now faces as a born-again Christian in the movie industry.
The Ghanaian actor said being born again has cost him a lot of his friends as most deserted him after he gave his life to Christ.
In an interview with Abusa FM, Ghana, Majid said he also had to dump some friends who he saw as detractors who would not help him achieve the goals he has set for himself as a Christian.
He added that his vision determines his friends and so, to be in a better position to serve God effectively, he had to make room for those with like minds.
But he spoke glowingly about two of his friends Pascal and Timothy: “If you’ve a plan or goal it determines the kinds of books you read, the kind of friends you hold and the kind of people you hang around with. Pascal and Timothy became close to me because we’ve like minds of doing the work of God and they’ve become my friends."

"Even if we go to a hotel and I’ve a lady friend, I’m monitored by Pascal and he asks who that person is. Sometimes I can have friends who can entertain lady friends and that makes it very important to know which friends you can really move with.”
