Lynxxx has released the much awaited sophomore album“The Album Before The Album”.
The album contains 18 tracks with one bonus track and features acts such as Mr Eazi, E.L., Poe and Tekno.
Production credits go to Spax, who produced 95% of the album, with other producers including Masterkraft, Tripple E, Tekno and Bantey making an input too.
Not particularly a Gospel music album as Lynxxx has said, the album is expected to infuse a combination of Afro-pop, R&B, Hip-Hop and soul music.
“The Album Before The Album” is the first body of work since the singer turned a new leaf in his life and career. His previous album – “This Is Lynxxx”, which was released in 2011, is the last work he released from a ‘worldly perspective’.
He admits to being shallow in the past with his music, in an interview with BBC Focus on Africa, adding that he wasn't fulfilled with the music he was doing back in the past.
The album is expected to share on the rapper's personal life, relationship and love , and dance tracks as well.
“The Album Before The Album” is an interlude project, which will precede another project to be released in the near future.
