Speaking at the media screening for the widely-travelled film yesterday, October 26, 2016 at Ozone Cinemas, Yaba, Bruce said he expected the film to make at least one million Dollars in Nigeria only.
If this happens, it will make ’76 the highest-grossing film in the history of Nigerian cinema. AY Makun‘s 30 Days in Atlanta currently holds the box office record for a Nollywood film after it made one hundred and sixty-one million in cinemas after its release in 2014.
“This film will make a million Dollars,” Bruce said while addressing pressmen at yesterday’s screening.
He also added that the film is a history class and it should be a moneymaking machine.
’76 features Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Chidi Mokeme with a surprise appearance by Pat Nebo who was also the movie’s art director. nigerianfilm
