Woman blasts Olamide over Orlando gay post on Instagram
– Olamide Immediately blocked the user from his Instagram handle
– After blasting Olamide, other fans fights dirty on Instagram
On Sunday, June 12, a gay night club in Orlando, Florida experienced series of shooting which resulted in leaving 50 people dead and 53 others injured, as the state immediately declared a state of emergency.
As everyone is still mourning all the lives lost to the shooting, award winning Nigerian music star Olamide decided to indirectly throw shades at ‘gays’, instead of everyone applauding the post, it got some of his fans angry and one of them immediately blasted him on Instagram
. According to Olamide’s post, he posted a posted a picture of a guy looking disgusted with the inscription: “When somebody asks you if you’re ok because they know you were in Orlando but you are not gay.”
This post did not go down well with one of his fans who immediately vented his anger on the music star. Identified as Chified, she took to her Instagram handle to a post a screenshot of Olamide’s post with the caption
“Olamide aka @baddosneh you are officially a douchebag for being so insensitive over such tragedy, gay or straight, lives were lost and I don’t see how anyone can make a joke with such and for the record, not everyone that goes to a gay club is gay, these are people that have friends and families that most times accompany them to clubs and there are also those that are not so judgmental and prolyl love the type of music played in the club. It could have been anyone so pay some fucking resect or be SILENT!!! #prayfororlando #letloveleadtheway”
However, going through Olamide’s post, he has deleted the post and he immediately blocked the Chified from having further access to is Instagram posts. As Chified found this post offensive, some faithful fans of Olamide do not find it offensive as they believed that that person should not have responded to the post except she was seeking for cheap publicity and attention. As usual some have started insulting each other due to this post. Check out fans reactions below
