The emerging screen diva is an entertainment Producer, TV Personality and Actress currently taking the Nigerian entertainment industry by storm. Angel has produced several entertainment projects and has starred in top Nollywood global productions including Tony Abulu’s “Doctor Bello” with Hollywood and Nollywood superstars Isaiah Washington, Vivica A. Fox, Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Linus, Tina Amuziam and Rachel Oniga.
Angel also recently Co-Produced and starred in the international blockbuster movie “Superstar,” featuring Nigerian-international music heartthrob Iyanya, super Comedian AY, music sensation Tekno, veteran Nollywood stars: Prince Jide Kosoko, Tina Amuziam, Rachel Oniga, Toyin Aimaku and comedians Ushbebe, Pencil and Funny Bone. She is currently in production for her own TV Sitcom “30 and Single” due to hit African and US airwaves in September 2016.
Delta State-born Angel studied Law at the Delta State University and was called to the Bar in Nigeria. After practicing the respected profession for a couple of years, she joined the mega international entertainment company Black Ivory Communications with US affiliations as an Attorney and she quickly exhibited great promise especially in areas of Copyright infringement litigation and was sent by the company for further training in the US.
In the US, Angel’s passion for films and acting was re-kindled and she seized the opportunity to study technique and character psychology with respected acting tutor Susan Strausberg and observed intense stage and dramatic scene study at the National Black Theatre, New York City.
On returning to Nigeria, Angel quickly rose to the pinnacle of the Nigerian entertainment industry, now with impeccable acting skills and the uncanny ability to weave effortlessly through several genres in drama, comedy and stage and coupled with her stunning beauty, This Nollywood Angel is unarguably one of the most sought after new leads for top Nollywood producers.
She recently hosted the prestigious Beatz Awards with Ace Comedian Gordons celebrating top Nigerian music producers and other professionals in the music industry and also anchored a television special “Nollywood Sings” by Nollywood great Kingsley Ogoro, presenting
Nollywood superstars such as Fred Aodmata, Kate Henshaw, Omoni Oboli, Jeta Amata, Toyin Aimaku, Charles Novia, Joseph Benjamin and others in a new light, singing their hearts out in front of a live TV audience.
Angel has featured in leading roles in several Nollywood films including: “Devil in Red,” with Yul Edochie, “Stolen Treasures” with Clarion Chukwurah, Chief Eddie Ugbomah, and Prince Jide Kosoko; “Chimaobi” with Queen Nwokoye and Daniel K Daniel as well as “Marrying a feminist” among others. She currently mentors young women aspiring to excel in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
