They’ve only recently rekindled their relationship after two years apart.
But new reports suggest that Miley Cyrus and Lima Hemsworth may be about to make things official – by saying their vows in Australia this summer.
‘The’re getting married on the beach,’ a source told US Weekly, adding that the smitten duo ‘will have help planning the event. Their parents are doing most of the work. It’s been easy.’
The Wrecking Ball singer, 23, and The Hunger Games actor, 28, started dating while filming The Last Song in 2009.
They announced their engagement in 2012, before breaking up in 2013.
After two years apart they rekindled their romance last year, with Miley spotted wearing her engagement ring once more.
This isn’t the first time that rumours of an imminent wedding have surfaced.
The couple visited Australia in late April and were said to be checking out places to exchange vows. ‘They were discussing potential venues and looking around,’ a source told Us Weekly at the time.
And Miley is also thought to have enlisted the help of French designer Simon Jacquemus to help her create a series of wedding dresses for the big day.
A source said Us Weekly that: ‘Simon is going to help Miley create a series of quirky outfits. She says there will be five outfit changes throughout the day and pink will definitely be a running theme.’
Meanwhile the singer’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was a bit more candid about the engagement in a recent interview onToday, where he expressed that if they do get married, he would be happy to officiate his daughter’s wedding.
‘Here’s what I do know,’ he said. ‘They’re so happy. That’s the main thing. Miley and I, we always had this slogan—If you ain’t happy, it ain’t working. ‘
Liam, who stars in Independence Day: Resurgence, gave an interview in the latest issue of GQ Australia, in which he couldn’t avoid talking about Miley.
‘Of course it was hard, man,’ he said said of their 2013 break-up. ‘But at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time—we both needed that.’
‘I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy,’ he added, ‘what I think is right and what I want to do, and I don’t worry too much outside of that.’
When asked about his relationship status, the Australian actor replied: ‘People will figure it out. They already have. …They’re not dumb.’dailymail
