Still in the spirit of the St. Valentine's Day celebration which held globally yesterday, Friday, February 14, we bring you the exclusive details of how ten leading entertainers celebrated theirs as well as their thoughts concerning Val.

Seyi Shay (Musician)

At the moment, I wouldn’t say I have a particular Val but I know I would have fun all the way. Watch out. Val is a special moment in every lover’s heart and as a lovebird too, I know I should be spending some time with my loved ones. Even though I might be doing some studio work for the week, I am sure of having a good day.

Yungsix (Musician)

I will be on stage doing what I know how to do best, which is playing music. Although, this may be total love, because I know many of my fans will use the event venue as a place to exchange love with others. I have a show that day, I will also be performing in Eko Hotel and Suites.

Gordons (Comedian)

As the season implies, let's show love and live it. I appreciate all my fans- they have been so wonderful. Naturally, it's going to be a busy day, but I will make out time to share the special day with my family. Let's show love. We are in the season of love and sharing.

Foluke Daramola (Actress)

Any day I see my husband, we just do ‘it.’ We do our Val everywhere, whether it is in the kitchen, parlour, staircase, we can do our Val everywhere and anywhere.

DJ Spin’All (DJ)

I would be dedicating my love songs to all of my fans that have stood by me over the years. I would be serenading them because they are special to me. I guess I should be performing on Val’s Day, at Darey’s show. So, I doubt if I would be spending it with a particular person. All the same, I would be showing my fans how much I love them.

DJ Jimmy Jatt (DJ)

I will ensure that my fans have a swell day. But that is not to say I will not make out time to catch some fun on that day but it will be a full day at work for me. Thank God this year's Valentine's Day falls on a Friday and a very busy day at that for me. So, I will spend a good part of the day working.

Ronnie Dikko (Actress)

I will be taking my family out, we will have a nice time. Even though, I don't have a Val but in the absence of none, I will celebrate with my family, at least, they are my Val. I don't have a Val. Valentine's Day is lovers' day. It is a day to show love to friends and family.

Femi Kuti (Musician)

Valentine is not in African culture. It is a borrowed culture from the white people. I will spend it like any other day because I have always been celebrating. I will be going out with my lover. We will have a nice time but as for Val, it is un-African.

M.I (Musician)

I don’t want to tell you if there is a special Val for now but I know it would be fun here. I guess I should be in the studio early, and then later hang out with my people.

Black Diamond (Musician)

I am glad to witness this special day that comes with lots of fun, spirit of sharing and expression of love to everybody. Let's have fun and party hard. I wish my fans a very splendid Val day. They have been so wonderful.
