Master and talented entertainer, Adedapo Oyebanjo, globally known as D’ banj has stated
that the forthcoming Glo Evergreen Series, the KSA edition will be a
night of fun, glamour and endless entertainment.
D’banj
who will entertain the crowd in collaboration with juju maestro, King
Sunny Ade and saxophone specialist, Yemi Sax told SHOWBIZPLUS that the night will
provide music lovers the opportunity of
seeing one of the best synergies between a music legend and younger
artistes.
“We
will not only play the best of our hot tunes but also collaborate on
stage with the maestro, KSA to entertain the audience and take them down
memory lane with his evergreen songs. It
will be a night to remember”, said Dbanj.
This
edition of Glo Evergreen Series is dedicated to King Sunny Ade, the
music maestro and legendary composer for his consistency in the past 50
years and contribution
to the juju music genre.
The last edition honoured Chief Ebenezer Obey, one of Africa's biggest juju music legends in
“a night of fun, glamour, glitz and good music” on 28th of
September, 2013. Chief Obey in collaboration with M.I and Yemi Sax
thrilled the audience comprising captains of industries, top government
officials and Globacom’s premium subscribers.
National
Telecoms Operator, Globacom is partnering with reputable brewers,
Guinness Plc as well as Nigeria's leading airline,
Arik Air to package the KSA edition of Glo Evergreen series, a special
music concert in honour of Nigerian Music Legends who have contributed
immensely to the growth and development of the nation’s music industry
for decades.
“A fun-filled night awaits the music enthusiasts at Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos on 28th February, 2014,” the statement concluded
