SHOWBIZPLUS learnt that the work was shot on location at Arch 233 in London and directed by Teekay, who has also worked on videos for some artistes including WizKid, Iyanya, Davido and 2Face. The “Egwu” visuals saw both Nizzy and Lola Rae in their elements as they brought the P2J-produced record further to life and highlighted their individual showmanship and stage presence.
While the Channel O Award and NEA Award nominated Lola Rae has become one of the most sought after female artists in Africa, Nizzy
is fast becoming one of the most exciting new artists on the scene and
is touted as one to watch for 2014. Together, the two artists have
crafted a resounding dance-floor filler “Egwu” that continues to
resonate with fans, party revellers and critics across Africa and the
UK.
