Revered reggae dance hall artiste Victory Okelego better known in the music circle and beyond as Kupa Victory is poised to inject new blood into the system.
The young man who broke into the scene in the 1980s as a teenage is fast assuming the role of a veteran reggae star not only in his fatherland but in Africa as a whole.
Call him the king of dance hall and you may not be wrong after all, as he has another mind blowing single to confirm that title.

And this, music lovers, especially those who love reggae, will discover when his new single finally drops. The countdown to the new single which critics have already described as evergreen has started.
And according to him, it will bring back memories of old school into the new school music for the enjoyment of both the old and young.
Now what song are we talking about? Is it a remix of his old tunes or that of popular reggae or R&B musicians?
“Let’s keep our fingers crossed and count down with Kupa Victory from now till February 14, which is Valentine’s Day and see ‘what’s gwan’,” he told us.
Kupa Victory, who was one of the reggae acts that made things happen on the scene in the 1990s and won so many awards before taking a hiatus made a grand return early last year with a single entitled Ijo Wa. He was also one of the artistes that featured in th just concluded Loud in 9ja Tour, a musical concert on the road that was sponsored by telecommunications giant, MTN.
He was invited to make a guest appearance in three out of the six locations that the tour touched base.
The cities that Kupa performed in were Ibadan, Abuja and Ilorin. Fans in Ibadan and Abuja were taken to another climax of fun and excitement as he thrilled them with old evergreen and new tunes.
