Emerging gospel artiste,
TY Shittu, is a multi-talented singer with rhythmic and captivating voice
backed by charismatic vigour to deliver great tunes to music lovers. SHOWBIZPLUS gathered that she
recently released two hot singles (Oba Ogo and All My Life), which are
currently enjoying huge support and massive air play on radio stations,
churches and homes, respectively.
Shittu was born in Asaba, Delta State
and schooled at Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, Anambra State. She
graduated from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, where she studied
English and Literature. The crooner worked with one of the leading
telecommunication companies in Nigeria, before settling for music as her career
and calling. Shittu also described her love for music as a chronological
passion and the real reason for her being.
She began singing
at the age of eight, as a soloist, who has led various choir groups and was a
face in the DBS (Delta State Broadcasting Service) Sunday Music Show.
She finally came
out this year, 2014, with her debut album of eight tracks entitled All My Life,
which will be released soon. Shittu featured Patricia Uwaje King and Mike Abdul
of Midnight Crew family in the work, which she refers to as strictly inspirational.
