It’s no longer news that controversial Nigerian radio presenter, Daddy Freeze, has been against pastors forcing their church members to pay tithes.
Following his constant social media preaching about this act, Daddy Freeze’s Instagram account was suspended for some days. His account became active again on Wednesday, November 1, and has been thanking people who supported him while he was away.
Coming out for the radio presenter is former Mr Nigeria and Nollywood actor, Emmanuel Ikubese who took to his Instagram handle on Thursday, November 2, to blast Daddy Freeze. In his several videos, Ikubese disclosed that everyone is tired of the OAP ranting .
He posted the videos with the caption: “Please sir why do you choose to focus only on NEGATIVITY. OKAY we have heard you. Let us make our choice. No one is forcing us to pay TITHES AND OFFERINGS. Thank you sir and God bless you.”
Listening to his videos, Ikubese said: “With all due respect Dr Freeze, please we are tired of your ranting. Who do you think you are? You think you are so important that a pastor is dedicating his time to preach about you, remove you from Instagram or shut you up? Don’t you have work to do? What’s your problem with Christians paying tithe or offering? It’s a personal choice. Why are you so negative? What is it? Pastors are actually making good use of it. Using it to build up God’s house. I think you have too much energy. Focus on things that actually need people to lend their voices. Do you know the crime rate that would have taken over our society if people don’t go to church? I speak on behalf of a lot of people, we are tired. Naij
