Stop buying fake followers — Davido comes for his colleagues

Davido took to his Insta stories to send a message across to his colleagues 

 In the messages, he tells them to stop buying followers 

 The message which was directed at no one in particular is speculated to be a shade for Wizkid It is no news that people on social media, for various reasons, have a desire for a large following so they often go the extra mile to get followers. 

While others become very interactive on the various platforms, others rather buy followers. 

Nigerian music superstar, Davido however does not agree with. He took to his Instastory to send a message to colleagues concerning this issue. 

In one of his stories, he wrote: “Ahhhh… I don catch you… lmao… Stop buying followers… you know yourself…”

 

Although the message was not directed at anyone in particular, there are speculations that he may have been referring to Wizkid whose Manya video was recently taken down from YouTube. Due to their recent feuds, the stars have been known for throwing jabs at each other on social media. 




Meanwhile, Davido, is currently Nigeria’s most followed celebrity on Instagram, with 5.3 million followers. He is followed closely by Wizkid, who has over 4.3 million followers. Now this begs the questions, could Davido really be throwing shade at Wizkid?. naij
