Solid Movies rebrands, appoints Acquisition Manager

In line with global best practices and to further strengthen its marketing department, leading Nollywood production company, Solid Movies International Limited has approved the appointment of Mr. Duru Chinonso, as its Acquisition Manager.

A statement sent to Daylight.ng stated that until his recent appointment, Chinonso was an acquisition assistant and sales representative with the wave making film company.

Imo State-born Chinonso is a marketing graduate of the federal polytechnic, Nekede and comes to his new job with almost a decade experience.

He is a creative and intelligent go-getter with a passion and commitment to excel.

He has marketed, distributed and produced high quality contents for Solid Movies International Limited.

He will continue to assist Solid Movies in representing many studios in Nollywood, Hollywood alongside collaborating with independent filmmakers globally.

“Our broad knowledge of film distributions and production models, in particular the ever changing landscape of digital distribution platforms and models, as well as both interactive and grassroots marketing, are the qualities that stand us out. Since our company’s new plan is to expand into VoD online streaming television and the rest, I will do my best to represent them in acquiring new contents from film festivals and content markets around the world,” he stated.

Chinonso who won the best marketing student award certificate from the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) in 2010, is optimistic his new position would open more doors of opportunities for Solid Films.
