Hadiza Abubakar

This pretty Edo State-born Theatre Arts graduate of the University of Benin dazzled in 2013 and is expected to double her efforts this 2014. Aside featuring in over a dozen flicks in 2013, another quality that stands out Hadiza is her diction and ability to interpret roles without difficult. She recently auditioned for Tinsel and may likely feature in the hit soap this New Year.

Ovo' Danielz 

This Delta State-born fledging thespian is currently the toast of filmmakers in Asaba. In fact, no major film is shot in Asaba without her face in it. I see 2014 as my shine of reaching the zenith of my career. Her roles in Foolish Lovers, Christmas Package and Games Married Women Play are still being talked about always.

 Blessing Patrick

In the league of fast-rising actresses in Nollywood, Blessing Patrick stands tall!  She proved herself to the world as an actress to reckon with in her first movie entitled Daughters of Eve. Predictably, her amazing performance has continued to earn her numerous lead roles. Though still very new in the industry, the sexy and fashionable actress has dazzled in more than 15 movies, including Aso Ebi Girls, Vampire, Midwives, King’s Bed, Tears of a Holy Heart, Enter the Place, Masquerade Dancer, among many others.

Nora Ify Igbokwe

Gifted with the kind of face and grace tailor-made for standing in front of movie cameras, Nora Ify Igbokwe is unarguably one of the hottest acts tantalising Nollywood with abundant skills and endowments. With her endearing physique-cum-uncanny knack for roles interpretation, most lovers of Nigerian movies believe the star actress of Adaeze (a soap opera currently running on Africa Magic), Touch, Total Experience, Prodigal Flock, etc, is not only becoming one of the hottest items on screen, but also stylishly taking over the industry. Within the year 2013, Nora dazzled in a good number of movies.

Chinonye Marvis

Since her arrival barely a year ago in the highly competitive Nollywood, the sexy starlet from Imo State is also becoming the darling of leading filmmakers. The pretty and cerebral Biochemistry graduate of Imo State University has featured in a number of movies including The Invasion of Owerri , Nwa Mary, The Angry gods etc. With a knack for flawless roles interpretations, the soft-spoken Nonye will indeed go far!

Imo State-born Vivica Anuforo is also a shining star among her peers as made apparent in her roles in quite a number of movies and soaps including, Turning Point, Broken Silence, The Bride is Mine, among others. “Acting is something I decided to chase because of how much fulfillment I derive from it,” the Political Science graduate of University of Lagos, Akoka, told EE. 

Abii Maribel Odinakachi

Imo State-born starlet, Abii Maribel Odinakachi, who is currently the Miss Lagos AGN is another hot new face that surfaced in 2013. At the moment, Nkeonye, a TV series she starred in is making wave in different television channels.  The star actress of Fools on the Mountain, among other movies, is at the moment a final year student of University of Lagos, studying Early Childhood Education.  

Ezita Franca Chinedum

Fondly called Chichi of Africa by friends and fans, Franca is another starlet that recently embraced Nollywood and dazzled in lots of films within 2013. Some of the films starring the Abia State-born Banking and Finance graduate include, The Marriage Counselor, Skelewu Madness, Blackberry Prostitutes, Incredible Secret, Spirit of Anger, among others.

Busty Nollywood actress, Florence Johnson, is one unassuming entertainer with uncanny knacks for roles interpretation, a reason she is currently the toast of many producers.

“Personally, I think my strength as an actress is my ability to deliver and the fact that I have a friendly outlook. I also have the talent and that keeps me going,” the Enugu State born starlet said in a chat with EE.
  Today, her name has grown in leaps and bounds, even as the face has constantly continued to attract attentions. The fact that this sexy, light-skinned and sparkling actress is taking the center-stage of the Nollywood industry, does not in any way reckon around lip-servicing, as her uncanny and professional way of interpreting roles on screen cannot be over-emphasized.
