A NEW NAME: When
birthed into God’s kingdom, and the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and
all kings thy glory: AND THOU SHALT BE
CALLED BY A NEW NAME, which the mouth of the Lord shall name (Isaiah
62:1-2)
A NEW LEVEL:
you cannot remain where you are neither can you retain old ideas since you are
born to God’s kingdom, it is lifting without limit. The Lord maketh poor and
maketh rich, he bringeth low and lifted up. He raiseth up the poor out of the
dust and lifted up the beggar from the dunghill to set them among princes and
to make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Lord’s
and he has set the world upon them (Isaiah 2: 7, 8)
A NEW THING:
Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness and the rivers in the desert (Isaiah
43-19) transfix not to the past and erase bad memory of past suffering,
rejection, destitution and hunger. Your wilderness experience is over; the Promised
Land is your place of rest.
A NEW GARMENT:
Hitherto you have been wearing garment of suffering, reproach, limitation and
sickness. Joseph slept one night as a prisoner, the following morning he rose
to become the prime minister.Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph and they
brought him hastily out of the dungeon and shaved himself and CHANGED HIS
RAIMENT, and came in unto pharaoh. (Genesis 41:14) Now Joseph was clothed with
filthy garment and stood before the angel. (Zech 3:3) thank God the angel
changed his garment. I see you being decorated with the garment of honor in
this New Year.
A NEW IDENTITY:
Are you a rejected, forsaken folk? It is like you are nonentity in the school
of mediocrity Thou shall no more be termed forsaken, neither shall thy land
anymore be termed desolate, but thou shall be called hephizipah and thy land
Beulah: for the Lord delighted in thee and thy land shall be married. (Isaiah
62: 4) Where you are rejected before, you will be accepted. Where they asked
you who are you? they will start asking how are you. The shame of nonentity
will change to a frame of new identity in Christ and your fame will be noised
all over because you are divinely recognized.
A NEW STATUS: Where you are, is not who you are. The
present condition is not the final conclusion. The present state is not the
final status. Joseph was a prisoner but his status changed to a prime
minister. Esther was an orphan and a slave but divine favor changed her status
to a queen. Mordecai was a gateman. (Esther 2:21) A day came that the king
could not sleep until Mordecai was promoted to become the general of the
kingdom. (Esther 6:1-11) It is not by credentials but endowed potentials or
good ideas, deed, the fear of God, selfless service and faithfulness.
Make it your habit
this year to respond to ability and give your best, the honor of God will color
you with his glory and you will be divinely promoted. Every addition in God’s
kingdom is not without condition. The rules you comply with will make you a
ruler, the principles you apply will make you the principal, and the
commandment you obey will give you the key to become a commander. It is your
preparation that determines your manifestations. Stop looking for promotion
from Man; you cannot receive anything unless it is from above. You can not win
a battle they wake up to create by sleeping. Your character is like deity the
way you serve it will make or mar you. Your attitude determines your altitude.
