This is cheering news for family members and teeming fans of ailing Nigerian musician and producer, OJB Jezreel. Some leading entertainers, mostly musicians are already donating huge sums of money to support the kidney transplant of the Pretete crooner, who is currently battling to stay alive.
An insider who spoke with us
disclosed that the response from Jezreel’s colleagues have been impressive.
Confirming the donations, friend of
the ailing producer and singer, Nomoreloss, who is also spear heading The Save
OJB Campaign, revealed that celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Dele Momodu, Iyanya,
Mercy Johnson, Ruggedman, Vector, P Square and Julius Agwu recently made
donations to save the musician.
Despite unconfirmed reports that stars
like Wizkid and Dbanj donated the sum of N3m and N7m respectively, Nomoreloss
has come out to dispel such rumours, stating that only a total of N8m had been
realized from donations made by the named celebrities so far.
Pioneer producer and singer OJB Jezreel
was weeks ago diagnosed with a kidney failure and urgently needs a transplant.
Already, a donor has been found, but he still needs to raise the sum of
$100,000 to perform the transplant as soon as possible.
