Tiwa Savage recently received a major honour from abroad - She was listed among 100 of the world’s most inspirational and innovative women by the BBC
The mum of one was very excited by her inclusion in the list These are the best of times for popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage as she was recently named among the world’s most inspirational and innovative women by the British Broadcasting Commission (BBC).
“Singer, songwriter and philanthropist Tiwa Savage is an integral member of the Afrobeats scene and plans to open a music school,” the BBC’s website wrote.
Other notable women who appeared on the list include NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia and President Michelle Bachelet of Chile. The women will also required to take part in the 100 Women Challenge, tackling some of the biggest problems facing women around the world.
Reacting to the news, Tiwa wrote via her Instagram page that women shouldn’t let their gender hinder them from becoming the best version of themselves. naij
