The match started off with the two grappling. The former champion Kevin Owens began the match aggressively, and a huge blow from behind saw him take a further advantage.
There was huge heat for Owens. Even after the break, it was Owens who was in control after a big boot to Styles. It didn't take long for Styles to finally get back in control, almost scoring a pinfall. However, Owens grabbed on to the ropes to prevent it.
Following this, it was all AJ Styles, who attempted a Phenomenal forearm until Owens slid away from the ring. The quick AJ Styles leapt over the ropes and hit the forearm to Owens outside.
After the second break, Styles hit a flurry offence followed by a running forearm. AJ attempted another Phenomenal forearm, only to be met by a Superkick. But this wasn't enough to put away the champion.
Another series of counters saw AJ put Owens in the Calf-Crusher. However, Owens delivered a headbutt to break it. Owens attempted a powerbomb, but the champion escaped and hit a Pele kick. Another few counter attempts saw another calf-crusher on Owens, who nearly tapped out, but reached the ropes.
After this, Owens hit back-to-back superkicks on Styles, and after he tried punching AJ, he punched the referee in the eye instead. He then hit another superkick on AJ and tried for a pop-up powerbomb, but AJ countered it into a roll-up pin. However, one of Owens' shoulders were clearly up, and the referee counted to three anyway, blinded in one eye.

Gable attempted yet another suplex, but Rusev landed an amazing superkick, but it wasn't enough to put him away. Rusev went for the accolade, but Gable slid from underneath him and got the ankle lock nearly submitting him. However, The Bulgarian Brute kicked him out of the ring and then back inside he kicked him hard, finally placing him in the accolade to submit him.
Great showing for Gable who looked great in defeat.

He told Rusev that if he were him, he wouldn't want him to get in the ring either. Rusev stepped back, inviting Randy to the ring. Randy said that he never beat him and challenged him for SummerSlam.
Rusev started saying something in Bulgarian and laughing, and as he went to attack Orton, he was met with an RKO. Orton stood tall. That match was set for SummerSlam.

John Cena vs Shinsuke Nakamura

John Cena and Sh

John Cena attempted the first strike, but Nakamura charismatically escaped and taunted Cena. Nakamura tried the same but Cena evaded him and taunted him as well. This is where the two got into a grapple.
Nakamura once more taunted Cena with his head on his chest and followed it up with his hands indicating that he could see Nakamura. Cena had a hold of Nakamura's wrists, but The King Of Strong Style countered it and got a hold of Cena before telling him to bring it.
They kept cutting to Jinder watching. After the commercial break, Nakamura was in control as he struck him with stiff kicks. Cena made a come back with a shoulder tackle, and as he attempted a five-knuckle shuffle, Nakamura caught him into an armbar, which he transitioned into a triangle chokehold.
Cena out powered Nakamura and lifted him up, going for an AA, but Nakamura hit him with a facebuster. As he was going for a Kinshasa, Cena countered it into an STF. Nakamura got out of it and locked in a cross-arm breaker, and Cena escaped that too, following it up with a clothesline to the former 2-time NXT Champion.
Back up, Nakamura once more got the advantage and attempted a Kinshasa, which was countered into an AA. Nakamura survived this too, kicking out at two.
Cena attempted another AA but Nakamura countered and dropped him on the back of his neck and then landed the Kinshasa, pinning him clean.
