All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy goes a popular saying but for Tiwa Savage, the saying should be all work and no smoke makes her a dull woman.
The famous singer and mom of one wasn’t alone at the restaurant where she was spotted. Her close friend and wife of legendary singer 2baba Idibia, Annie, was with her.
According to the British heart foundation, Shisha smoking - also called hookah, narghile, water pipe, or hubble bubble smoking - is a way of smoking tobacco, sometimes mixed with fruit or molasses sugar, through a bowl and hose or tube.
Shisha smoking is traditionally used by people from Middle Eastern or Asian community groups but it is becoming increasingly popular among Nigerians.
Traditionally, Shisha tobacco contains cigarette tobacco, so like cigarettes it contains nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and heavy metals, such as arsenic and lead.
As a result, Shisha smokers are at risk of the same kinds of diseases as cigarette smokers, such as heart disease, cancer, respiratory disease and problems during pregnancy. We are glad to see Tiwa enjoying her life but people also shouldn’t forget that smoking shisha could be harmful. naij
