Uti Nwachukwu and Kevin Spacey
At the just concluded Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards 2016, that took place on Sunday, January 31, American actor Kevin Spacey mocks God while trying to make a joke.
After bagging the award for Outstanding Performance for the role of a male actor in a drama series, Spacey while giving his acceptance speech said: “I will first like to thank our creator…no not that ONE” as he was pointing to the Heavens in order to make his audience know he wasn’t referring to God but his producers.
On hearing this, popular Nigerian TV host, actor and model got furious and blasted the Hollywood actor. Uti Nwachukwu took to his Instagram page to posting a video of Kevin Spacey with the caption:
“AND HE WENT ON TO THANK THE CREATORS OF THE SERIES…SMH. SO I WAS WATCHING THE S.A.G AWARDS AND I SAW THIS!!!! THE AUDACITY!!! I MEAN EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A SPIRITUAL PERSON, WHY?!!! LEAVE OUR MAKER OUT OF UR DRAMATICS!! THIS IS HOW PEOPLE CAUSE THEIR OWN DOWNFALL!!! MEeeeeN THERE’S NO WAY GOD WON’T HUMBLE KEVIN SPACEY COS OF THIS STATEMENT! HOW DARE U MOCK GOD? See the Look On His Face as He Said it! Bros Wetin Our Creator Do You Na? THAT U REFER TO HIM AS ‘THAT ONE’. ONE OR 2 OF MY FRIENDS HAVE SAID IT WAS A JOKE…That AT LEAST HE Acknowledged GOD as our maker. ETC…EVEN WORSE!”
