The coal city of Enugu State came alive and bubbled to no end last Thursday, when the MTN Soundcity Campus Blast berthed at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus with so many grooves, for fun seekers.
The show, which was the second in this season, witnessed unprecedented and exhilarating performances from P-Square, 9ice with rib cracking comedy from Ay and DJ Poska. For the duo of Peter and Paul, it was indeed, a cool blast that got their eastern-based student fans crying for more. Also, it was 9ice’s first performance in the State, but he was able to hold the frenzied crowd and even added glamour to the fun filled night. In fact, the big acts, the comedians together with the up and coming performers discovered at the event and the guests would definitely cherish the exciting memories for a long time.
Commenting on the show, the Youth Segment Officer of MTN Xtracool, Funmilayo Okogun explained that the brand seeks to connect with the core passion of the target market, which is the youth segment. “It’s a whole package of total music and entertainment”. Meanwhile, the Y’ello train is set to anchor in ten more universities across the country with bumper and bigger performances.
