Terry G fights back, says he wasn't stoned on stage

Versatile entertainer, Terry G, has debunked rumours that he was chased out of stage by irate fans during a performance at Makurdi, Benue State, a few weeks ago.
On 19 December, 2013, Terry G, alongside Ice Prince and J Martins were at the IBB Square, Makurdi for a show.
The first to perform was Ice Prince, who left nothing behind to wow the audience. Coming after him was Terry G, who also in his usual way gave an energetic performance. After the songs; Free Madness and Akpako Bombom, the anxious fans were already crossing the barricade erected by the security operatives.
By the time Terry G was performing the song Halleluyah, the overzealous fans, who apparently picked special love for Terry G, because he is an indigene of the state, trooped to the stage, and in the process, efforts by the security personnel to push them back resulted to a protest.

It was the season of babies in Anambra on New Year day as the state led by amiable and hard working Peter Obi, witnessed the birth of no fewer than 200 babies across the state, the wife of the governor, Mrs. Margret Obi, said.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the governor’s wife made the disclosure while presenting gift items and undisclosed amount of cash to 15 of the babies in Awka.
The presentation of gifts was done across the three senatorial zones of the state.

 Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has been described by many human rights groups as the worst violator of human rights in Nigeria. Dickson is in the eyes of the storm for illegally detaining a social media activist, Tonye Okio, for over two months without trial.
The Nigerian Human Rights Community, and the Journalists for Democratic Rights; said during a press conference that while millions of Nigerians were marking the Yuletide with fun and grace, many innocent people were in detention on the orders of the state government, a statement said.
The statement read in part, “We are obliged to raise the alarm on the human rights condition in Nigeria. It is currently facing severe challenges. As the country marks towards its 100 years anniversary, it is regrettable that basic human rights, especially freedom of speech, continue to come under atrocious attacks.
The groups alleged that on October 26, 2013, armed men, on the instruction of the state government, invaded the Abuja home of Okio and whisked him away.

Feelers reaching SHOWBIZPLUS has it that governor Rotimi Amaechi and his supporters are currently jittery and scared as the Rivers State Police Command said it had arrested the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, for the alleged murder of his kinsman, Mr. Kingsley Ejeuo and a police sergeant, Urang Obediah. Lloyd is one of embattled Amaechi's henchmen in the state.
 A statement made available to The Punch on Thursday night indicated that Lloyd was purportedly arrested on his way to join the state Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, in his private jet in order to escape justice.
