implore you not to look at this from the angle of a brainwashed mind.

Okay;
we go to church every Sunday and if in Nigeria, every day. Some of our
preachers have taken advantage of the level of poverty in the country
and now manipulate people into believing that they have to just fold
their hands, give the last money in their pocket, go hungry, as they
wait for miracles happen.
Only
a few preachers still talk about holiness, rapture, and righteous
living. All we get daily from the pulpit are endless preaching of
miracles and the get-rich-quick syndrome. Because of this, folks now go
out there and commit all sorts of crime just because they have to go
back to "daddy" with great testimonies. What foolishness could be
greater than this to see Nigerians rushing and dropping five and ten
thousand Naira just for their so called daddy to spray his demonic
perfume on them. Our problem here is that we don't study the Bible and
so anything goes. It is no longer what the Bible says; it is now more of
what "daddy" said. When did Christ stop being the author and finisher
of our faith?
We
are now in the era of miracles. Pastors now go out of their way to get
demonic powers while they use the name of God to cover up. Once you go
to them, you keep going because they solve one problem and send ten to
you. This is just a warning to fellow Nigerians and possibly Ghanaians. I
can't say where it all started but it looks like Ghanaian pastors are
worse than their Nigerian counterparts. People, what they use in this
our generation is the spirit of the dead. A good number of them practice
necromancy. When they give you those prophecies, it is always correct.
But the God I know has nothing to do with it.
We
often find ourselves transferring our duties to God all in the name of
godliness and spirituality. We no longer want to think with our brain.
When God created you,He endowed you with certain gifts and abilities to
make things happen.But religion,instead of impacting us positively,has
brainwashed a good number of us into believing God has to come down from
heaven to do everything for us. God wasn't foolish when He have you the
brain. Like I always tell people, the brain on its own doesn't think;
we think with the brain. For some of us, our brain is just another
dormant part of the body.
Like Pastor
Sam Adeyemi once said,"you have a job to execute and someone asks," how
are you going to do it?" and the next thing you say is" the Lord will do
it".God cannot do it when you fold your hands and refuse to use your
brain efficiently. You can pray from now till thy kingdom come,you can
attend all Daddy Adeboye's Holy Ghost congress and crusades by Dr Uma
Ukpai. Your change will come when you learn to use your brain and your
hands.You keep praying and disturbing God unnecessarily to bless
you.Where is the work of your hands that He has promised to bless?
You
live your life in church,a graduate who has suddenly become a driver
and PA to a pastor who doesn't even care how your family feeds.Are you
trying to tell me you will just live and die without leaving any legacy
for your children?All you want is for them to grow up to know that daddy
spent all his life driving pastor round town without bringing money
home at the end of the day? They will forever spit on your grave.
Don't
tell me it's service to God,I know that is what they have used to
brainwash you.But you know what;you can still serve God in your
successful career. You can still earn salary as the pastor's PA. This is
one part of Pastor Femi Paul's life and ministry that I appreciate so
much. When you see his admin staff, you see hot brains that are well
catered for. He is not one of those pastors who believe in free service
and rendering people's children useless through religion. A labourer is
worthy of his wages. Its a different thing if you want to go into full
time ministry, but if that is not what you want, please go to work.
Don't join another man to fulfill his own ministry;fulfill our own
ministry and destiny. Stop attending services Wednesday or Monday
morning when your mates are at work. Get busy and then pray for God to
enlarge your coast.
Don't get me
wrong;prayer opens door for the supernatural, but it would be foolish of
you to believe its all about prayer.The same Bible we read says,"faith
without works is dead".Stop following your pastor about and turning
yourself,a graduate, to a glorified driver.Stop hanging his wife's bag
all over the place when they don't pay you to daily leave your
wife,husband,and children to serve them. Women, go home to your husband
and children and stop acting like his second wife. You don't prepare
your husband's food yourself but you spend quality time in the kitchen
preparing "Daddy's" food. God is not happy with such service.
You
don't even respect your own biological mother, but you are always
rolling on the floor for "Mummy". When was the last time you bought
clothes for your parents? Their roof is leaking, your parents are dying
in cold and you are not bothered, but you just bought a brand new Range
Rover Sport for your "Daddy" because they keep telling you that your new
family is now those in the household of faith. May God forgive us for
making His word what it is not. May He show mercy to us for using His
word for our belly.
Religion has a
way of turning people to slaves.Religion has a way of making the
learned stupid and causing eyes to go blind to the truth.Religion is not
of God.Never allow the yoke of religion tie you up because you will
find yourself among the most stupid people on earth.Live your life for
God and humanity and forget mere doctrines of man.
Looking
unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.Never look up to your
pastor or Imam, never transfer the fear and respect you have for God to
them.Never allow anyone brainwash you into believing you are filthy.The
blood of Jesus is more powerful than anything in this world.Stop
practicing religion and quit being a man-pleaser.
Your pastor has made it;please go to work and make it!
