MultiChoice storms Lagos Trade Fair, slashes DStv, GOtv prices for subscribers



The annual Lagos International Trade Fair commences in a few days and MultiChoice Nigeria; the nation’s leading pay-tv content provider is offering DStv SD decoder and dish  at a onetime deal of  Fourteen Thousand Naira (N14, 000), a reduction from the previousN15, 500. Accordingly, the GOtv decoder plus antenna which was formally Six Thousand Nine Hundred (N6, 900) will be sold at the trade fair for Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N6, 500 only.


The decoder price slash which is exclusive of installation costs would afford more families an opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment on DStv and GOtv this season.

Speaking on the one time price deal at the trade fair, Chioma Afe, Marketing Manager, DStv said this offer is aimed at making DStv and GOtv services more accessible to customers. “As a business, our key focus is continually providing additional touch points, thereby increasing our customers’ accessibility to our products and world class content.” she said.

Afe also explained that subscribers who buy the DStv Explora decoder at the ongoing trade fair will get a complimentary DStv Drifta. While GOtv subscribers who purchase GOtv decoders at the trade fair will also go home with mouth-watering branded gifts.

Urging subscribers to take the opportunity to purchase DStv and GOtv products during the 10 day long fair, Afe reminded subscribers that MultiChoice recently embarked on an Open House Estate Storm, with the sole purpose of bringing DStv and GOtv products and services, closer to the customers. The Open House Estate Storm also gave subscribers an opportunity to subscribe to the bouquets of their choice, while also resolving some technical queries. The estate storm is scheduled to hit a few more locations before the end of the year.
