The ‘Pleasant Surprises’ fever, that has hit the country in the last two weeks, has gradually found its way into some higher institutions of learning in Nigeria. Students of two higher institutions in Lagos; University of Lagos and Federal College of Education, Akoka, Lagos, were treated to pleasant surprise moments recently, as delectable songstress and MTN ambassador, Tiwa Savage, paid a surprise visit to some students of the two schools.

Students of both institutions were amazed to see Mavin Records’, Tiwa Savage, paying them a visit during the MTN Season of Surprises campaign in their schools. The students who could not hide their feelings and excitement, thronged in their hundreds to have a feel of the fun, and take photographs with the delectable songstress.
In an experience that will remain one of their most exciting moments, two Students of the institutions; Ugwu Joseph, a 300 level mathematics student of University of Lagos and Shodeinde Zainaat Afolashade, a student of Agriculture at the Federal College of Education, Akoka (FCEA), each received an iphone 6, while others were surprised with various eye-popping gifts, courtesy of the leading telecommunications and ICT company in Nigeria, MTN.
Describing the surprise package delivered to him for just being a subscriber, Ugwu Joseph commended MTN for the surprise gift.  ‘I never expected to be a proud owner of the latest iphone for the next two years. This is really the most exciting surprise that I have ever received from any brand in Nigeria’, he said.
In Owerri, Imo State, Limpopo crooner, KCee, also stormed the Alvan Ikoku College of Education and the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, to the delight of the students. His surprise visit was great fun to the students, as he gave out an iPhone 6 to Thompson Onukah of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, while the Students Union President of the Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Comrade Nwadike Orient was also a surprise beneficiary as he received an iPhone 6 from KCee. Several other students also received gifts from the Limpopo croonner.
