A2Z production searches for new talents

As part of activities carefully planned to help rekindle the lull in Nollywood, frontline movie/music company, A2Z Productions, has concluded plans to organize a free movie audition soon, for intending screen stars.
The audition, which holds in the afternoon of this Saturday, September 19, 2009, at the outfit’s Mba Street, Surulere, Lagos head office, according to Arinze Ezeanyaeche, the boss of A2Z, is to help discover new talents and propel them to the next and desired level of their burgeoning careers.
“We need to inject new super stars and fresh faces into Nollywood. And the only way we can do that is by organizing this free audition, where budding acts can come and openly showcase their God – given talents. If you believe in yourself, just come and show us how good you are. At the end of the day, we will pick the best male and female actors, without any sentiments attached. At the end of the exercise, we will cast them for major roles in our forthcoming movie, Save My Life. We are also using this once in a life time opportunity, to help these budding acts break fully into Nollywood.”
Continuing, youthful Ezeanyaeche, also known as Don Supremo, further argued that the forthcoming free audition would no doubt help usher in a new era in Nollywood. “We all know that Nollywood has been down and very dull in recent times. But with this audition, activities will be back in full force in the industry. We also intend to have more auditions immediately after this one. The essence is to keep the spirit of the industry alive. We intend breaking into Hollywood, in the nearest future. So, if you think you have what it takes to become a star in Nollywood, come to our audition on September 19, 2009 and prove yourself. Don’t miss it.”
With over 30 hit Nollywood movies to its credit, A2Z production, has also discovered and nurtured rave music acts like: Duncan Mighty, J-Martins, Sky B and a host of others.
“Aside making quality movies and music, we are also happy discovering new talents in both the movie and music sectors. It is our own little way of helping to empower the youths of our society, so that their minds will be taken off crime and other social vices.”
